frowned upon
today i found the beehive demolished by the wind and rain. lying in pieces on the sidewalk, bees in puddles and scattered all around. there is a small piece of the hive still active on the limb but most of them were wearily wobbling on the ground or dead on the mud.

i just went by and saw it- pieces are still falling. its sad to see and im sorry to you. i guess nothing lasts forever. but they had a good run - didn't they. remind me to tell you something i over heard when i was doing research in that building...
did i tell you i found a big hornets nest on broadway- i will help you locate another bee hive- keep searching.
This is so sad. I am surprised at how this news has made me feel so deflated. Poor bees, they are such amazing insects and such hard workers. Hopefully they will find another nest or queen soon so that they will be safe.
